ABOUT SAM
A fellow learner.
A thoughtful guide.
Medicine is a long learning process. Having someone work through it with you can make a difference.

Hi, I’m Sam.
I’m a medical student at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, with graduation expected in 2027. I’ve been tutoring since 2018, working with high school students, college students, and premeds in math, science, and MCAT preparation. I also mentor fellow medical students on study strategies and navigating medical school.
I started Rounds Medical Tutoring to help students make sense of challenging material and become more confident in their reasoning. My goal is to help you understand what a question is asking, work through the evidence, and explain your answer—not simply memorize another fact. When a content gap gets in the way, we’ll work through it together.
I want our sessions to be a place where you can say, “I don’t understand this yet,” and know that we’ll figure out the next step together.
OUTSIDE THE STUDY DESK
I enjoy running, reading, and spending time with my fiancée. I’ve completed two marathons, including one alongside her, and I like exploring used bookstores for something unexpected to read.
